The original instructions required Cedar posts or planks. However, Cedar may not be currently available for individual purchase. If Cedar is not available, you may use pressure treated wood of the same dimensions. We recommend allowing the pressure treated wood to "dry" first before applying paint.

A - (1) 4" x 6" x 6' Cedar Post - (Knotched at the top.)

B - (2) 2" x 6" x 30" Cedar - (These are the cut cross beams.)

B1 - (2) 2" x 6" x 24" Cedar - (for single box)

C - (2) 1" x 5 1/2" x 18" Cedar - (Mailbox sits and attaches on these beams.)

D - 4" numbers silver or black in color

E - Galvanized Metal Box 8 3/4"H x 6 3/4"W x 19"D - (silver color)

The Solar Group E11 Series- Standard (T1) Size or similar

Misc. Galvanized or coated deck screws

Metal Flashing of not more than 6" from the ground may be placed at the bottom of the post to prevent wood deterioration.

Mailbox - Gibraltar Grayon Medium, Steel, Post Mount - Model #ST100000 (can be found at Lowe's or Home Depot)

Mailbox Post - Paint Formula

Updated Grey Paint Formula is now located at Home Depot in Southlake. Visit the paint department and ask for the Lakeside Estates Mailbox Post Formula which they have printed out on their HOA list, OR, give them the HOA phone #: 817-203-4264 and they can look up the formula.
